Chapter 1: General Rules
Article 1 (Purpose)

The purpose of this agreement is to stipulate the basic terms and procedures for the use of the online services (hereinafter referred to as "Services") provided by Homes Stay Myeongdong (hereinafter referred to as "Hotel/the hotel").

Article 2 (Effectiveness and Changes to the Terms)
1. These terms and conditions become effective upon being posted on the service menu of the website.
2. The hotel may modify these terms and conditions within the bounds of applicable laws, such as the Content Industry Promotion Act, the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection, the Act on Regulation of Terms and Conditions, and the Basic Consumer Act. The revised terms will take effect upon being notified or announced as stated in Clause 3. Customers using subscription services who do not agree with the amended terms may discontinue their use of the service and terminate their service agreement. Continued use of the service after the effective date of the revised terms will be deemed as acceptance of the changes.

Article 3 (Rules Other Than The Terms and Conditions)
Matters not mentioned in these terms and conditions may be applied in accordance with the provisions of the Telecommunications Basic Act, the Telecommunications Business Act, and other relevant laws and regulations.

Article 4 (Definitions of Terms)
The following are definitions of terms used in these terms and conditions:
1. Member: A person who enters into a service agreement with the company or uses the service to receive the services provided.
2. Reservation Number: A combination of letters and numbers determined by the company, needed for members to verify reservation details.

Chapter 2: Service Use Contract

Article 5 (Formation of the Contract)
The service contract is established when the hotel approves the applicant's request to use the service under these terms and conditions.

Article 6 (Application for Use)
1. To use the service, applicants must complete the hotel’s designated membership application form and provide all required information.
2. All information entered in the application form is assumed to be accurate. Those who falsify information or do not provide their real name may not receive legal protection and may face service restrictions.

Article 7 (Approval of Application for Use)
1. The hotel will approve service applications in accordance with Article 6, except in cases outlined in Clauses 2 and 3.
2. Approval may be postponed until the following issues are resolved:
a. Insufficient capacity of service-related facilities.
b. Technical difficulties.
c. Other cases deemed necessary by the hotel.
3. The hotel may refuse applications in the following cases:
a. Applications using another person's identity.
b. Applications with false information.
c. Applications made to disrupt public order or decency.
d. Failure to meet other requirements made by the hotel.

Article 8 (Changes to User Information)
Members must promptly update their user information online or by calling the reservation office if any changes occur. The hotel is not responsible for any issues resulting from the member's failure to update information.

Chapter 3: Obligations of the Contracting Parties

Article 9 (Obligations of the Hotel)
1. The hotel cannot disclose or distribute a member’s personal information to others without prior consent, except in the following cases:
a. Legal requirements from government agencies.
b. Criminal investigations or requests from the Information and Communications Ethics Committee.
c. Requests according to relevant laws and regulations.
2. Within the scope of the above, the hotel can compile statistical data on member information and may transmit cookies to members' computers through the service. Members can refuse cookies or set up browser alerts accordingly.

Article 10 (Member Obligations)
1. Members must not engage in the following.
a. Misusing another member’s reservation number.
b. Copying, reproducing, modifying, translating, publishing, or broadcasting service information without prior consent.
c. Violating the hotel’s or others' copyrights.
d. Disseminating harmful or inappropriate content that violates public order.
e. Engaging in activities linked to criminal conduct.
f. Engaging in any activities that violate relevant laws.
2. Members must comply with the relevant laws, these terms and conditions, and service guidelines.
3. Members must heed to the hotel's announcements and usage restrictions.
4. Members may not engage in any commercial activity using the service without prior consent from the hotel.

Chapter 4: Provided Services and Use

Article 11 (Member's Responsibility to manage ID (Reservation Number) and Password.
Members are responsible for managing their ID (reservation number) and password, and fully responsible for any consequences resulting from mismanagement or unauthorized use. If a member’s ID (reservation number) is used fraudulently or there are any security breaches, the member must notify the hotel immediately.

Article 12 (Transactions with Advertisers)
The hotel is not responsible for any losses or damages resulting from member participation in or transactions with advertisers via the service.

Article 13 (Members' Posts)
The hotel is not responsible for member posts or transmissions. It may remove content without prior notice if it is deemed to:
1. Invade the privacy of others or defame or slander them.
2. Disrupt service stability.
3. Involve in criminal activities.
4. Violate intellectual property rights.
5. Exceed the designated posting period.
6. Violate relevant laws.

Article 14 (Rights and Responsibilities for Posted Content)
All rights, including copyright, and responsibilities for posts are with the member who posted the content.

Article 15 (Responsibility for Service Use)
Members are prohibited from engaging in illegal commercial activities, including but not limited to, selling illegal products, hacking, advertising money-making schemes, commercial activities through adult sites, and illegally distributing commercial software. The hotel is not responsible for any consequences, including legal actions, arising from violations.

Article 16 (Service Restrictions and Suspension)
The hotel may modify, change, or suspend all or part of the service according to business plans or policies, without member compensation unless specified by law. The hotel may restrict or suspend all or part of its services in the event of war, civil commotion, natural disasters, or other national emergencies, or in cases of force majeure such as the suspension of telecommunications services by a telecommunications service provider under the Telecommunications Business Act. The hotel must promptly notify the member of the reasons for and duration of any service restriction or suspension made in accordance with Clause 1.

Chapter 5: Miscellaneous

Article 17 (Contract Termination and Restrictions)
1. If a member wishes to terminate the contract, they must submit a termination request to the hotel.
2. The hotel may terminate the contract without prior notice or limit/suspend services if the member engages in activities such as:
a. Using someone else's service reservation number and password.
b. Disrupting the service's stable operation
c. Intentionally spreading content that disrupts public order and morals.
d. If a member plans or executes the use of the service for the purpose of harming national interest or the common social good or welfare of society.
e. Posting, publishing, emailing, or transmitting content that infringes on the intellectual property rights of others and harms their reputation or causes them a disadvantage.
f. Continuously sending obscene, vulgar, threatening content, or advertising information that goes against the recipient's will.
g. Spreading computer viruses or other programs that cause malfunction or destruction of information and communication equipment.
h. Infringing on the intellectual property rights of the hotel, other members, or third parties.
i. In cases where there is a corrective request from external organizations such as the Information and Communications Ethics Committee, or an authoritative interpretation from the Election Commission regarding illegal election campaigns.
j. Improperly using another person’s personal information, reservation number, or password.
k. In cases of copying, distributing, or commercially using information obtained through the hotel's service information without the hotel's prior consent. 
l. Violating telecommunications-related laws or other applicable regulations.
m. Violating these terms and conditions or any others set by the hotel.

Article 18 (Compensation for Damages)
The hotel is not responsible for any damages incurred by the member related to the use of the service when the service fee is free of charge.

Article 19 (Disclaimer)
1. The hotel shall be exempt from liability for the provision of services if it is unable to provide services due to natural disasters or other force majeure events.
2. The hotel is exempt from liability in the event that a disruption in service use occurs due to the member's fault.
3. The hotel is exempt from liability for the member's failure to gain expected benefits from the hotel’s service provision or for damages resulting from the selection or use of service materials.
4. The hotel is exempt from responsibility for the accuracy, reliability, or other content of information, materials, or facts posted by members on the service. Members use the service at their own risk, and if any damage occurs from the materials posted or transmitted using the service, or if any disadvantages arise related to the selection of materials or other aspects of service use, all responsibility for such issues lies with the member.
5. The hotel is not responsible for any transactions, such as goods trading, between members or between a member and a third party through the service, and is exempt from responsibility regarding any benefits that a member expects to gain from using the service.
6. The responsibility for any damage or misuse resulting from the mismanagement or carelessness of the member's ID (reservation number) and password, or, unauthorized use/misuse by a third party, lies entirely with the member.
